A Modesto defense attorney pleaded not guilty Wednesday to 28 criminal charges, including felony stalking, criminal threats, witness intimidation and illegal firearm possession.
Prosecutors warned that additional charges could be forthcoming. They allege that while in jail, defendant Wilber Manuel Campos Salgado tried to contact a protected victim.
