BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A male suspect will be facing multiple charges after leading authorities on a pursuit through Lewiston, Grand Island, and Tonawanda on Thursday, the Town of Niagara Police Department said.
Around 1:45 p.m., authorities responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a shopping center parking lot on Military Road; officers said they arrived to find a grey Hyundai Elantra unoccupied with the driver’s side door open and the vehicle running.
Following investigation, officers determined that the vehicle had been rented fraudulently, and that the renter had outstanding warrants in multiple jurisdictions, including the Town of Niagara…
