Emeralds fall 10-2 to AquaSox as Everett earns first win of series

EVERETT, Wash. — Everett’s bats came alive early Thursday afternoon, as the Eugene Emeralds fell 10-2 to the Everett AquaSox in Everett, Washington.

The loss marked Everett’s first win of the week, though Eugene still holds a 2-1 series lead heading into the final three games of the weekend. The Emeralds are now 14-13 to start the second half.

Everett scored in each of the first four innings and built a 10-0 lead. In the first, Matthew Ellis opened the scoring with an RBI single before Korbyn Dickerson hit a two-run home run to make it 3-0.
