Last year I had the privilege of speaking at a town hall meeting when someone in the audience asked a question that has stayed with me ever since:
“Where are all of these hungry children?”
Perhaps the question may have been asked with skepticism, but I also heard genuine confusion. The person simply couldn’t reconcile the reports of child hunger with what they saw in their immediate spaces…
