CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — As slow-moving showers and thunderstorms move across the Lowcountry Friday, the City of Charleston says crews have been preparing for days to reduce flooding impacts in some of the area’s most flood-prone locations.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until midnight. Forecasters say torrential downpours could bring localized heavy rain and minor flooding, especially in low-lying areas.
