Mount Pleasant woman charged with DUI after dragging motorcyclist on car hood after crash

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Mount Pleasant woman was arrested Tuesday after she was accused of driving under the influence and attempted to flee the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

52-year-old Willow Amanda Brunswig was arrested and taken to the Al Cannon Detention Center where she was charged with driving under the influence, first offense and failure to give information and render aid.

The report on the incident states that officers responded to the area of Rivers Avenue and Melnick Drive after receiving reports of a collision involving a possible impaired driver.
