Great weather continues for now — we’re tracking rain early next week

The weekend is here! And it’s shaping up to be a good one for us here in Boston.

In fact, as we move through this Saturday, we’ll see mostly sunny skies and low humidity. It’s going to feel great, whether you’re heading to see the Patriots at training camp in Foxborough, watch the Red Sox take on the Blue Jays at Fenway, or enjoy a nice stroll around the city. Enjoy it all!

The sea breeze will likely keep temperatures along the coast in the upper 70s, but communities away from the water will see high temperatures in the low to mid 80s today.

Tonight, lows will drop into the 50s and 60s under mostly clear skies.

We’ll see a few more clouds on Sunday, especially toward the Cape and Islands. Still, we’re expecting comfortable humidity levels and mild temperatures. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s along the coast due to a persistent wind coming off the water.

MetroWest temperatures will settle closer to the lower 80s.

We’ll start next week with dry weather. But heads up! A low pressure system will bring periods of rain to New England, including right here in Boston, starting Tuesday.

Rain will continue Wednesday, and some of that rain could be heavy at times.

Some forecast models even keep a few showers and isolated storms in our region on Thursday. We’ll keep an eye on it…
