THIS WEEKEND:Hopefully we can get a few showers and storms over the weekend, because next week is looking hot and mostly dry! We’ll have some isolated showers and storms around for Saturday and Sunday with highs Saturday in the low 90s thanks to some additional cloud cover, then warming into the mid 90s on Sunday afternoon.
NEXT WEEK:Here comes the heat! An upper ridge noses in from the west and that will keep us hot and mostly dry for much of the week. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 90s with heat index values 105°+, so Heat Advisories will likely be issued for much of the area. A front approaches from the north on Wednesday and that could kick up a stray shower, but rain chances will be very slim as the air will be pretty dry. Then we’re dry Thursday and Friday with highs backing down a bit into the mid 90s. We could see enough moisture return for some isolated afternoon showers next weekend, but most of the activity looks to be along the coast and to our west…
