MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A legendary Motown and R&B band, The Commodores, will perform in Montgomery during the Alabama National Fair.
The Commodores formed in 1968 while members attended Tuskegee Institute in Alabama and were discovered by Motown founder Berry Gordy and later rose to international fame. For more than five decades, the group has entertained audiences with a blend of Motown, soul, R&B, funk and pop. Their hits include “Brick House,” “Sail On,” “Easy,” “Three Times a Lady,” “Nightshift” and “Machine Gun.”
The Commodores continue to tour, performing the songs that have become the soundtrack to generations.
