Minneapolis police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men after an early May assault near a North Loop restaurant left a victim with serious head injuries. According to the department, the man was struck, fell, hit his head on the concrete and then spent an extended stretch in the hospital recovering.

In a Facebook post, the Minneapolis Police Department said the assault happened at about 1:55 a.m. on May 2 near 603 Washington Ave. N. The post included photos of two people in white T-shirts that investigators hope someone will recognize.
