VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Police Department is investigating a pedestrian-involved crash Monday morning on South Independence Boulevard.
Police said the southbound lanes of Independence Boulevard are closed at Baxter Road. Virginia State Police also has the off-ramp blocked.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area, use alternate routes and expect heavy traffic.
