Dani Austin’s $100 Million Hair Flip

Under other circumstances, Dani Austin and I might have met for a matcha at Merit Coffee, her favorite neighborhood coffee shop, or talked shop from the comfort of a cozy booth at Hudson House. (She’ll have a burger and truffle fries, thanks very much.) We might have strolled the shores of White Rock Lake, which drew the Richardson native to put down roots in Lakewood as an adult. But we settled for a video call, as Austin’s current schedule is busier than usual. That’s saying something for the 33-year-old multihyphenate.

For starters, she gave birth to her fourth child just two months prior to our visit. If content creators got maternity leave, she’d still be on it. Yet Austin—ranked No. 14 on Forbes’ 2025 list of top creators in the United States—hasn’t missed a beat. She’s continued sharing her signature brand of unfiltered content up until, since, even during her youngest’s birth. An unflinchingly honest three-part series on her unmedicated delivery has generated nearly 90 million views on TikTok. She’s still recording her podcast, De-Influenced With Dani and Jordan, a weekly show she hosts with her husband of eight years, Jordan Ramirez.

And most notably, she’s still expanding Divi, the hair-growth company she founded in 2021. Backed by Silicon Valley investors, its products are carried in more than 1,200 stores and it boasts the fourth most popular “scalp treatment” product on Amazon. What began as a viral startup has turned into a national retail brand generating more than $100 million in annual sales…
