LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) -– Applications are open for the next Lafayette Director of Traffic, Roads, and Bridges, according to Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG).
Lafayette Consolidated Government is launching a nationwide recruitment effort in partnership with executive search firm Affion Public to identify an experienced transportation leader who will help guide Lafayette’s continued growth and infrastructure investment. The executive search firm specializes in local government leadership recruitment, to conduct the nationwide search and attract top transportation professionals from across the country. The position is now posted, and applications are being accepted.
The search follows the departure of former Director Warren Abadie, who recently accepted an opportunity in the private sector. To ensure continuity throughout the recruitment process, Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet has appointed Martin Poirrier to serve as Interim Director of Traffic, Roads, and Bridges.
