OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Locally owned NeedMore Coffee has relocated to Oak Grove, officially welcoming in both old and new customers during their soft opening in July. Owner Claudia Lopez says their menu infuses classic Mexican flavors from her culture alongside classics that people love.
“We are a coffee shop with a Latino twist,” Lopez told Christian County Now. Her favorite item on the menu is the tres leches latte, which is comprised of their house made syrup mixed with milk and espresso, topped with cold foam and cinnamon. She said customers love their Mexican hot cocoa and horchata coffee flavors too.
Along with their signature coffee items are other more basic lattes, energy drink spritzers and coffee house staples. They also serve a variety of breakfast options, paninis, and homemade bakery items like cookies, cheesecake and pastries.
NeedMore Coffee previously operated in Clarksville, Tennessee and Lopez moved operations closer to home in Oak Grove this summer. Welcoming in each customer is her pet bearded dragon named Espresso and a tortoise named Mocha, who add to the fun character of the shop. She said, “He’s technically our mascot; we found him in the parking lot of our other store, and we tried for three months to find his owner…and Mocha showed up a month later so now we have a Russian tortoise too.”…
