WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A West Palm Beach Man is being accused of setting multiple fires along 45th Street and S. Tiffany Drive, according to an arrest report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, 41-year-old Martin Rey Calderon was arrested and charged with several offenses ranging from malicious land burning, building a fire and not attending/extinguishing it, and drug-related charges such as use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, according to the criminal complaint.
Per the affidavit, Calderon was seen pulling dried sod and brush to the sidewalk near 45th Street and S. Tiffany Drive, before pulling out a lighter from his pocket and setting it ablaze. The fire continued to burn near a bus stop, pedestrians, and a nearby school…
