A Champlin woman and a Minneapolis woman face felony theft charges after allegedly loading garbage bins and backpacks with more than $3,400 in merchandise before leaving an Eden Prairie Walmart without paying.
Shakeena Takeema Flax, 38, of Champlin, and Marquita Yvonne Maxwell, 35, of Minneapolis, were each charged July 22 in Hennepin County District Court with one felony count of theft.
