MASON CITY, Iowa – A Twin Cities man accused of waving a gun around during a fight at Clear Lake’s downtown Fourth of July celebration is pleading not guilty.
Darrius Rayshawn Bolden, 25 of St. Paul, MN, is charged with threatened intimidation with a dangerous weapon, carrying a weapon while intoxicated, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The Clear Lake Police Department says Bolden was arrested just before 10:30 pm on July 4 by officers working security for the event. Investigators say a witness reported Bolden pointing a firearm at someone else in a large group of people. Court documents state security video allegedly shows the same thing.
