Record-breaking rainfall drenched parts of Massachusetts on Wednesday, bringing flash flooding and slick travel conditions across the region.
Most of the heaviest rainfall was concentrated north and west of Boston, where some communities were inundated with several inches of rain.
Worcester set a new daily rainfall record, recording 4.56 inches in a single day, according to Boston 25 Meteorologist Shiri Spear.
