GRAPEVINE, TX — A 79-year-old Colorado man has been arrested in the 1981 strangulation death of Beverly Bruneau in Grapevine.
Court records say Larry Dean Brown is accused of killing Bruneau just before Valentine’s Day nearly 45 years ago.
The Crime Scene
Police said officers found Bruneau on the living room floor with an electrical cord around her neck and blood on her face.
Investigators documented signs of a struggle, including blood on several surfaces and smudges on the kitchen sink.
