LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette auto repair shop is seeing a surge in cooling-related vehicle repairs this summer, with the owner warning that ignoring warning signs could lead to engine damage costing tens of thousands of dollars.
Charlie Dugas, owner and operator of Dave’s Car Care Center — located at the Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Verot School Road intersection — said more than 70% of the vehicles coming into his shop this summer have cooling-related issues.
