Severe possibilities on Sunday – Showers and thunderstorms become more widespread late Sunday and continue through much of next week. The highest rain chances arrive Sunday, with additional rounds of storms possible each afternoon into early next week.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed our area under a Level 1 of 5 Marginal Risk for severe weather on Sunday. While widespread rainfall is our main focus, a few isolated severe storms could produce damaging wind gusts and downpours during the afternoon and evening.
