SPOKANE, Wash. — UPDATE, 4:58 p.m. Spokane County Fire District says says an evacuation center has been set up at Northwood Middle School for the people who have been evacuated due to a wildfire near Mead.
According to Fire District 9, the Fairview Fire, located east of the North Spokane Corridor and south of Peone Road is estimated to be 250 acres. Forward progress has not yet been stopped.
Level 3 (GO NOW!) evacuations are in place for people living north of Fairview Road, west of Bruce Road, south of Peone Road and east of Market Street…
