The ongoing Phoenix-area heat wave is showing no signs of letting up.
The Valley has been under an extreme heat warning since July 23. The warning has been extended several times already, and it probably will not end as scheduled Tuesday night, according to meteorologist Chris Kuhlman of the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
“It’s likely that the heat warning will be extended, probably even through the rest of the week,” Kuhlman told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Monday morning.
