GUILDERLAND — The new McKownville firehouse is on target for completion by the end of the year.
On Saturday, a handful of residents toured the building, which is being constructed in the footprint of the old station at 1250 Western Ave. Residents had supported the project in April 2024 with 80 percent of the vote.
“In regards to the schedule, substantial completion is looking, as planned, for the end of the year to the very early part of next year,” Chief Michaeal Costabile told The Enterprise, “so we can do it in nice weather.”…
