EAST LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – A video showing the arrest of a Black woman in East Lansing began circulating on social media late Sunday night and early Monday morning, prompting a response from local officials and advocacy groups.
The video shows several East Lansing Police Department Officers handcuffing and arresting a woman laying on her stomach in downtown East Lansing. At least one officer appears to hit the woman several times while she is on the ground.
