BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office announced a road closure Tuesday morning due to a downed tree.
Deputies said that Upper Grassy Branch Road between Maxwell Road and Riceville Road is closed, and that the large tree also took out power lines. That section of roadway is expected to be closed most of the day.
