BUNCOMBE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A man wanted by U.S. Marshals after a chase in Buncombe County is in custody, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies report James Eugene Cole III fled a traffic stop and began a chase through the Fairview community before crashing near the 900 block of Old Fort Road and abandoning his vehicle.
He had outstanding warrants for failure to appear from previous sheriff’s office investigations. The U.S. Marshals began a search for him, deputies said…
