SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – One of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history is coming to the Historic Savannah Theatre.
“Les Misérables” is set to make its highly anticipated debut at the historic venue, running from August 13 through September 6.
Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, “Les Misérables” follows the story of an escaped convict wrongly imprisoned and his relentless nemesis dead set on pursuing him. The production features a live cast delivering renditions of theatrical masterpieces, including “I Dreamed a Dream” and “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.”

The Savannah Theatre has scheduled both evening and matinee performances:
- 7:30 PM Evening Shows: Thursday, Aug. 13; Thursday, Aug. 20; Saturday, Aug. 22; Thursday, Aug. 27; Thursday, Sept. 3; and Saturday, Sept. 5.
- 3:00 PM Matinee Shows: Saturday, Aug. 15; Sunday, Aug. 16; Sunday, Aug. 23; Saturday, Aug. 29; Sunday, Aug. 30; and Sunday, Sept. 6.
