I-69 NB shut down after insulation debris covers roadway, officials say

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Indiana State Police Department officials say troopers have temporarily closed northbound I-69 on Wednesday in Vanderburgh County.

According to ISP, the closure located at the 15 mile-marker is due to blown insulation scattered across the roadway, creating hazardous driving conditions.

Officials say traffic is currently being diverted at the Boonville-New Harmony Road exit.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and to expect delays…
