NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle ended up submerged in water following heavy rainfall in Norfolk Tuesday afternoon.
Multiple WAVY viewers sent pictures and videos after an SUV drove into flood water in the underpass on Colley Avenue following the downpour of rain. That rain left several streets in Norfolk and Portsmouth flooded, causing drivers to take alternate routes and also abandon their cars.
One of the images shows the vehicle completely submerged.
