This Cleveland street is so steep that salt trucks drive up backward — and some drivers won’t use it at all

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The street is so steep that city trucks won’t drive up it during winter weather, backing up instead for the sake of safety as they drop salt, and plowing only while heading down.

Jeanna Kenney, who works at the bar and grill on top of the hill, is too scared to drive up or down under any conditions.
