COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – A luxury north Columbus retirement community is being sold to a North Carolina-based ownership group.
Spring Harbor, owned by Piedmont Healthcare, is being purchased by The Maxwell Group, an umbrella company that owns 17 senior living facilities, mostly in the Southeast United States.
A spokesman for The Maxwell Group confirmed to WRBL News 3 that the for-profit company was purchasing Spring Harbor and the deal will likely close before the end of the year. A Piedmont Healthcare statement said the deal was awaiting state approval…
