Quinton Tellis ordered held without bond in witness intimidation case

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Quinton Tellis will remain jailed while his new case moves through the justice system.

At a bond hearing, a judge ordered Tellis held without bond, citing the nature and seriousness of the danger he poses to the victim.

New charge

Tellis is now accused of intimidating a witness from his murder trial.

He was found not guilty last month in the 2015 death of an international student at the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Prior cases

Tellis was previously tried twice for the murder of Jessica Chambers in Panola County…
