Owner of Ultra Lounge East to surrender liquor, cabaret licenses after shooting

The owner of a nightclub that saw a mass shooting last month will surrender his liquor and cabaret licenses after reaching an agreement with the city of Denver.

The Yak and Yeti restaurant, operating as Ultra Lounge, is located at 9755 E. Hampden Ave. The nightclub was the site of a shooting that killed Elijah Bernard, 25, and injured eight others in the early morning hours of July 20.
