GUILDERLAND — Less than 3 miles away from Costco’s huge grand-opening event, and on the same day, Shake Shack opened for business Thursday morning with a line of eager eaters stretched around Stuyvesant Plaza for the 9:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting.
The opening was planned for Aug. 5, but historic rain on July 29 hindered employee training and delayed the opening by a day.
