LEON COUNTY, Fla. — As students prepare to return to Leon County classrooms next week, school safety officers and sheriff’s deputies are getting hands-on training with new drone technology designed to help them respond faster during emergencies.
The training is part of Florida’s Campus Guardian Angel pilot program, launching in Leon, Broward and Volusia counties.
