Crews are battling a brush fire in a remote area of the Antelope Valley that triggered evacuation warnings on Thursday, officials said.
The “Dora Fire” — now 850 acres — was first reported near 210th Street West and Highway 138 just before 2:30 p.m. Nearly an hour later, it was declared a two-alarm fire, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Evacuation warnings were in effect near Highway 138 from Lancaster Road and 120th Street West, though officials said no structures were threatened. A hard closure was also in place in that area…
