One person was injured and 18 individuals were rescued after a fire tore through a three-story mixed-use building on the 800 block of Fillmore Street Thursday morning, San Francisco fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to the fire just before 2 a.m., where they found residents fleeing the building, a three-story “multi-residential over commercial building,” according to the Fire Department.
