LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – An injured great blue heron is recovering after being rescued by officers with the Lansing Police Department.
Earlier this week, officers responded to an animal complaint and found the injured bird.
Police safely captured the heron and transported it to the Wildside Rehabilitation Center in Eaton Rapids for treatment.
The rehabilitation center is now caring for the bird as it recovers…
