A dynamic multi-stage pursuit came to a swift conclusion yesterday after Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD) officers successfully tracked down and arrested a car theft suspect hiding inside a local commercial building.
The incident began when GGPD officers spotted a vehicle previously flagged as stolen and initiated a routine traffic stop. Instead of pulling over, the driver accelerated, leading law enforcement personnel on a vehicle pursuit through city streets.
The suspect eventually abandoned the vehicle, fleeing on foot to evade arrest. Officers quickly established a perimeter, scanned the immediate area, and discovered the suspect hiding inside a nearby business. The individual was taken into custody safely without further incident…
