Nick Allen warmed up the espresso machine just before 8 a.m. Friday ahead of Bella Patina’s opening at 8:30.
Just past the row of checkout counters on the first floor and behind the holds shelf is the new addition to Allen and his wife’s shop: Revivalist, a takeaway coffee window offering a limited menu of lattes, Americanos and mochas using Onyx Coffee.
“We converted some of our office space back here, so we reduced the overall footprint it takes, just a to-go window, a little bit of seating,” Nick Allen said. “But it’s mainly meant for people to grab and shop and walk around.”…
