Bowtech to permanently close Eugene site, lay off 43 workers starting Sept. 30

EUGENE, Ore. — A Eugene business is set to close permanently this fall, triggering layoffs for dozens of workers.

The Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission’s Office of Workforce Investments Dislocated Worker Unit said it received a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) from Bowtech, LLC on July 31 for one location in Eugene.
