“COMPANY SIMPLY STOPPED DELIVERING. HELD SHIPMENTS HOSTAGE”
According to the complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Safe Ship and Bee Movers entered into a broker-carrier agreement in January 2026, and Safe Ship went on to broker numerous household moves to the carrier through June. Then, in July, the lawsuit says, Bee Movers simply stopped delivering. The suit claims the company held more than 26 outstanding jobs “hostage,” offering no explanation, no alternative arrangements and no response to requests that it release the shipments. Safe Ship says it only learned of the problem after customers began calling to complain about delays and a lack of communication.
The lawsuit accuses Bee Movers of breach of contract and tortious interference. On that second count, Safe Ship alleges Bee Movers posted fraudulent reviews and worked to steer customers away from the brokerage. The company is seeking damages in excess of $75,000, plus attorneys’ fees and costs, and says it has suffered “irreparable harm” that will continue unless the court intervenes. It’s unclear what the status is of individual moves and whether furniture and other goods have been returned to their owners.
