Hundreds of acres of forests and farmland across Horry County will soon become large residential developments boasting thousands of new homes.
Horry County has issued permits for more than 15,400 single-family homes since 2024 as more developments take shape and add new housing, according to Thomas Bell, Horry County deputy director of public information.
