EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Our heatwave continues with afternoon highs in the mid 90s and heat index values near 110 Tuesday afternoon. Cloudy skies overnight will keep lows in the upper 70s with very muggy conditions for Wednesday morning. The heat advisory continues through Thursday, and will likely be extended into the weekend as daily highs continue to rise into the middle 90s and heat index values hover near 110 each afternoon.
Severe weather is possible on Wednesday afternoon and evening as a complex of thunderstorms dives south into the Tri-State.
