ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – Leaders in the Cahokia Unit School District #187 are set to cut the ribbon on a new high school Tuesday morning in Cahokia Heights.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for the new high school, located on Camp Jackson Road, ahead of the first day of school for students on Monday, Aug. 17. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will also be held for a new five-lane road bordering the high school.
The massive project for the district cost between $80 million and $90 million. There are still a lot of crews working at the new high school as the beginning of the new school year rapidly approaches…
