(CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky.) — A 22-year-old Evansville, Indiana, man is facing burglary and assault charges after deputies say he forced his way into a Calloway County home early Wednesday morning and assaulted one of the occupants before fleeing on foot.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a residence on Edgewood Drive at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday after an individual known to the occupants reportedly attempted to force entry into the home. Before deputies arrived, the suspect gained entry and assaulted one of the occupants.
