ST. LOUIS – A coordinated law enforcement operation, led by federal authorities and focused on reducing violent crime, began in St. Louis earlier this week.
Members of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department formally announced the operation, which ATF calls a “violent crime enforcement surge.”
