Driver pulled from car after crashing in South Seattle

A driver was pulled from his car after crashing in South Seattle early Friday morning.

The crash happened near the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Henderson Street, blocking all northbound and southbound lanes, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) reported. Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, emergency responders safely extricated a 50-year-old man from the car, and he was taken by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition…
