NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY)- There will a 72-hour single-lane closure on East Little Creek Road for roadway paving and concrete work as part of construction for the Hampton Roads Express Lanes (HREL) Norfolk Segment.
Starting as early as 8 a.m. Monday, August 17, contractor crews with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the westbound left lane on East Little Creek Road between West Glen Road and East Admiral Taussig Boulevard at the I-64 overpass. All traffic will be shifted to the right, resulting in a single lane of travel on this portion of East Little Creek Road. The lane closure is estimated to be in place until approximately 8 p.m. Thursday, August 20.
